Sunday morning....

As usually the kids woke up VERY early yeasterday morning. It was freezing cold but nice and dry weather so I thought it would be a good idea to go out for a long walk. First we went to a place called Svartsengi and tried to side down the hills but it didn't work very well.

Then we decided to go for a walk in the great Icelandic forrest. The kids were running around, having fun. For a while I thought I had lost the kids in the woods but....

Then I could spot Sigurbjörg in the red coat. It was much harder to find Eyjólfur as he was wearing his camoflash coat.

I got a photo of them in the middle of the forrest. See if you can spot them...

Then the kids found a christmas tree for us. With twin top so they could both put stars on the top.

However, I didn't like it. So we are sticking to our tall, green, artificial tree once again :-)

Best wishes from Iceland,

OOOHHHH Clare, you can have all our snow. - until christmas eve, then we want it back. Then you can have your rain again ;-)
You guys just have to visit during winter time and hope you get both snow and northern lights.

Yes Laura, I know I'm crazy and just a bit ironic with the trees...
Thanks for the comments both Clare&co and Laura
